Making things
Threads and rounds
Everything you make lives in a thread: one Generate run and every change, resize, translation and video made from it. A thread is made of rounds. The first round is what you asked Create for. Each time you use a tool on one of its ads, the result arrives as a new round under it.
Where do I find my threads?
- The Threads list in the sidebar shows the current brand's threads, newest activity first, with a spinner on the ones still generating. A quiet row marked Not started is a Create form you saved but have not sent.
- Recent threads on Home shows the latest picture of each.
- Library holds all of them. See Library and Templates.
A thread's … menu in the sidebar has Open, Rename and Archive. An archived thread leaves the sidebar and Home; find it in the Library under Archived and press Unarchive to bring it back. A video ad opens on its story page instead of a thread page.
What is on a thread page?
- The title with a … menu: Rename, Download all (every ad, saved one by one), All details and Archive. Under it, when the thread was last updated.
- Context — what this thread is made from: the brand, product, persona, ad concept and style (or the photoshoot), the credits spent, and the strategy with Why this angle?, each linking to its page, plus the settings the thread was started with. On a wide screen it sits beside the thread; on a narrow one it is behind Show context.
- Rounds — each one a sentence about what was asked (for example “New variations of Ad 3”), the words you typed, when it was made, and its ads. Ads arrive as they finish. A failed one offers Try again.
Pro tip
Click an ad to select it. Its tools open right under its row, so everything you need for that ad is at the picture. See Working on an ad.
